Since nothing apparently happened today, here is some trivia I like.

Abraham Lincoln's dog was also assassinated.
The most common English word with no rhyme: Month
In Iceland, tipping is considered an insult.
The average bank robbery nets $2,561.00
Most expensive of all hobbies: gardening.

No wait, something did happen. When the group left Don Shula's restaurant in Miami Springs last night, there was one of the most glorious sunsets in history. I've long since lost the photo, but it was the best I'd ever seen anywhere. A perfectly round cloud well over the horizon was eclipsing the sun and the rays shot out like, well, use your imagination.

The first Nessie sighting was in 565 AD, long before tourists. The last sighting was ten years ago today, when some guy named Marmaduke admitted he carved this wooden model and convinced the village doctor to claim he shot the photo.
