           Today in 1957, the first Edsel was completed with a price tag of $3,500. Ford lost $352,000,000 on the car within two years. Edsels are now sold on eBay for around $18,000. I plagarized this information. Since nothing else happened today, here is a photo of a warplane that pancaked after the pilot ejected. Note how flimsy these things really are.
