I started the new job today. I can’t wait for Carl, it’s to haphazard. It’s one of those construction bits today … You’re kind . . .foreman . . .two weeks a partner . . . I’ll ask Moogie if . . . The crew last… . same.
[Author’s note 2025: another crappy page but I remember the situation. Carl was Moogie’s brother. He paid well running that spray insulation, getting a lot of government contracts. But it was not steady work. Worse, you often did not know whether it was a day on or off until the day before. Sorry my life is a little more complicated and I need to make plans further ahead than that. The job I’m referring too was on a framing crow, a type of work I find rather easy. One of those if you last one week you’re the foreman and in two weeks you’re a partner. It could work that way except the character wound up meeting was a born crook. I was referring to the bad crew that was there when I arrived. I believe I got Moogie a job there but he lasted till the first paycheck, you see it involved getting up at 5:30 AM. ]
