Tina must be staying at Brenda’s, there’s no answer. The guys practiced most of the day. Hersh and I and some young fellow went PD Inn for a pizza and wine. Hersh’s broke, but his father may get a him a duplex. Lucky stiff. I missed Mitzy’s baptism. Incidentally, she’s now a Mormon. I wonder what’s going on, but I understand she’s dying.
Gary mentioned that RofR’s stocks have climbed quite a bit. I like good news. I committed the ultimate sin and made a withdrawal from the Slush Fund. Oh yes, little Jane was over today, so was Richelle. Either one. any time.

[Author’s note 2025: for clarity, PD Inn is short for the Prairie Dog Inn, a popular pizza joint and a great place to pick up women. None of us knew it was probably the last such place. Sadly Mitzy passed away from cancer a few months later, I believe she was just 42.]

The PD Inn was somewhere in this picture, the only one I could find of 17th Avenue SW in Calgary. I don’t recognize any of it.
