           The calendar says nothing happened this day, so here is a picture found in 2024 that was taken on this blog's date. Also, a news headline for those who have forgettin about the dotcom bubble. I recognized nothing on the Top Ten music lists.

           Markets finished the ugliest first quarter since 1978 yesterday - and the Dow came close to its worst performance in 41 years. The rest of the market fared much worse....

           This is a picture of Mars this date, part of a media pitch where Burrough's called it "Barsoom". This photo was taken by Viking 2 in 1976, but not released until this date. It is now fairly certain NASA discovered water on Mars in 1976 but said nothing for the next 45 years.
