June 18, 2004

Around this date, the first NASA satellite to approach a comet snapped this picture of Wild Two. It used a "tennis racket" to collect particles from the comet tail and return them to Earth in 2006. The mission was declared a success, but it is practically impossible to find out whatever became of the dust or the results.
Other than this old news, my calendar just mentions it was payday and I was so tired I went home and read.
