One year ago today: July 30, 2023, dumb SOB.
Five years ago today: July 30, 2019, bathroom WIP.
Nine years ago today: July 30, 2015, only 32 people.
Random years ago today: July 30, 2006, a new student.

No, we have not forgotten that along with the tubes, I have a box of doll eyes. These are not plastic buttons, they are entirely realistic eyes with unique patterns. I’ve sold around half of them, they are not a big ticket sale. Here is the best close-up I can manage with my existing equipment. As a consignment item, I am not going to open any of the packages. (No, Glenn, you cannot find these on eBay and figure out which account is mine.) I took these through the plastic covers, but take my word for it, these are exact replicas of the real thing. These sell for as high as $19 a pair.
It’s going to cost me $557 to register the Hyundai and pay the taxes. Paying tax on used items is the ultimate American indignity. People cheat, so guess what Florida has done. They’ve instituted a minimum $300 tax on vehicle sales. If you give the car away for 0$, the new owner has to pay the minimum tax. I was up late, listening to how Kamela’s campaign is off to a great start and how rapidly she has transformed into a great candidate. It’s a miracle, they said.
Since eBay didn’t, I stepped through their entire report process to find the amount of sales actually credited to the seller’s account. Out of $492 in sales, the net to us was $272. Meaning eBay took over 55% of the money. I made a couple mistakes, like double-ordering a $4 label, and that return fee of $19 I don’t understand, but no matter how you slice it, eBay cut themselves a much larger share than advertised. However, I don’t know the system yet and it’s not like you can ask eBay if there’s more money coming or anything.

Since the Kamela hype is non-stop today, how she was a sleeper, the real brains behind the scenes, now emerging with her full potential, blah-blah. Well, gang, we’ve already defined what they need to do to cheat. You see, it is the only way they know how to cheat and they now can’t get out of it. They must convince the public that the race is very close. And they have enlisted the MSM to push this theme. I’m referring now to comments on the utterly ridiculous Fox News poll shown below, saying she went from single digit rating to beating Trump in the usual swing states. Also the four states accused of cheating the most, so the Democrats are declaring their intention to cheat again. What I have for you is my favorite comments on this poll.
1) Anyone who believes this should be returned to the mental institution they escaped.
2) Advance evidence of their cheating.
3) They now can’t stop what they’ve started, but the worm has turned.
4) They must have only axed black wimmin.
5) Michigan is already leading the way with 104%.
6) It’s an outdated method that won’t work anymore.
7) Once the first mule gets a thrashing, the rest will panic.
8) The regime is losing and this is them lashing out.

We also missed Festus Tuesday. I was in my work clothes and had glue drying, so I kept working right through until midnight. Looking at those thousands of $3 tubes is disheartening, because I don’t have the time to list them individually. But, I’m thinking. It is the database that makes them sellable. If you buy 200 tubes, I’ll give you a printout of what’s there and you can go sell them. That’s one idea I’m fondling. No, you don’t get the database, just the printout.

How to lose billions in revenue in a wink? Turn the Olympics into a freak show, that’s how. The backlash of the drag show “Last Supper” has advertisers pulling their contracts. Boycotts work, they have a real sting when applied properly, which means getting the word out. The hype around this games sure does that much. They mocked Christianity, but don’t dare touch Islam, this warning was issued long ago, including in this blog. Personally, I have no use for the Olympics other than the Russian hoop routine, mind you, the women are uglier than they were in the 80s. The Paris metro was sabotaged, these French sure don’t botch things up half-way.
A blinding storm found me working in the shed, so cancel any road trips. Instead, I put up another shelf and got some other work done. When the tubes are sorted into single layer boxes, they take up less than half as much room. I’ve dedicated on whole corner of the shed for that. Then feeling like counting, I spent 5-1/2 hours thinking as I sorted two more batches of tubes. That’s past the halfway mark and it’s easier now that I have the system in place. I should be finished with the boxed tubes shortly, that’s where the money appears to be.
As the big boxes get emptied, I’m finding rarer tubes, but that does not often mean a higher price tag. I’ll be getting a payout soon but unless sales really pick up, it has not been worth the effort on ah hourly basis. The eBay workload accounted for most of the long hours, one would think that selling should not be the most difficult part of the process. Silly me, thinking that because eBay has made so much money already, they would streamline their system to make even more. They’ve done the opposite, as I move toward using the more advanced features, their woeful lack of expertise gets worse.

They’ve designed their financial records without an accountant on the team. They are worse than credit union bank statements. That’s one reason I want the inventory finished. At that point the job becomes shipping. Check for sales in the morning over breakfast. At that point, the intense hours of build-up may become worthwhile. The database is now quite large and I’ve noticed something odd. There is very little overlap between manufacturers. Only some very common tube types, such as the 6AU6, are made by several companies. There are other indications the competition is posting manually. The primary clue is the way new listing appear, or a simple before and after search. When I’m posting, the results are not random.
Instead, you’ll see an entire batch of (in this case) 15 higher priced RCA 6 volt tubes appear consecutively. The summary then shows a total of 23 tubes listed. Over time, there is a rebalancing, but at the moment 65% of that category of tubes are my listings. Somebody is selling an entire grinding mill on eBay for $18,500. It’s 64” high, weighs 352 pounds, and has an 11” grindstone. It says up to 100 pounds of wheat, rye, spelt, millet, buckwheat, corn, kamut, oat, rice, cassava, etc per hour. Free delivery.

ADDENDUM
I read a lot, including an article where Kamela is saying she is not responsible for her grandparents owning slaves. Gosh, that means none of the rest of America is, either. That’s how equality works, folks. And the freon gas in your fridge can cause brain damage. [Insert libtard joke here.] As for the odds, forget the polls, look what the gamblers are putting their money on. It’s Trump 62% and Harris 35%. And no way has she got 35%, they are betting on her cheating that much. Maybe they think we have forgotten she had to drop out of the 2020 Presidential race because nobody wanted her.
Even funnier are the Democrats who don’t realize they’ve been shafted by their party. They chose Biden and now they are told to stuff it, the party elite will appoint who they want. And this news about Netflix and others who donated to the Biden campaign have just lost all their money. And Driscoll, the Tacoma reporter behind all the Internet trolling of the unvaxxed, has died “unexpectedly”, I believe is the correct terminology.
Later, a Rasmussen poll showing Trump at 50% and Harris at 43% is a joke. Rasmussen has obviously been horribly compromised. An extra laugh, Harris held a free concert with rapper Megan somebody in Atlanta. When she started speaking, the crowd began leaving. 43%, huh? She’s offering $150 to post favorable media content, how lame is that? And she’s trying to ban parody videos. The Left can't meme, and they can't make parody videos either, it would seem.
