The US has a new Attorney General and we expect some heads are going to roll. The Deep State prepared for a traditional war of delays, hoaxes, and business as usual. Trump went for their piggy bank and it is truly amazing even to the watchdogs how many shadowy operations are failing and flailing. Vaccine stocks plummet. Biggest revelation is the modern left has no substance. No voter base, no support, all their bluster was fake media, paid pollsters, and a shallow platform built on stolen USAID cash. And it is now certain they have never won an election. The light is flicked on and the roaches are scattering.
Here’s a picture that finally shows a practical use for A.I. It is an x-ray image of a scroll carbonized by a Roman-era eruption of Vesuvius. There is a truly weird story behind these scrolls, including how they were traded for three kangaroos. The locals in Italy were burning them for firewood until somebody noticed they had writing. No word yet on what they say, but A.I. was used to render this image.
I had some extra coffees wondering when Americans are supposed to get tired of winning. The polls that used to show even the fake Trump stats have stopped publishing results completely. It seems like every day now we hear of another billion-dollar government office being choked off. My conclusion is things will soon hit the Democrats and far left so badly, they will never recover—and they are livid because they expected a different kind of fight. They are now openly calling for violence. Myself, I just want to build some boxes and rake my yard.
Which is what I did. I completed the second of the matching set, but being my first try, they did not match so much. I learned some valuable tricks on making them at least close enough. Lots of nuances no mentioned in the instructions, lots of new things to watch for just when you’ve learned the old things. For example, a box that is long than wide is less cooperative with the hinges and there are advantages to applying the finish last.
The neighbor was over to introduce his sister-in law and husband, I think they are happy he’s got a neighbor who keeps an eye on things. Actually I don’t, I’m just twenty times as active and spend time in the shed most every day. It’s the yard that I can’t keep up with. I put around four and a half hours per week in to maintenance, but the yard by itself produces five and a half worth.
Washington is making a big deal out of illegals who got deported and are sorry they voted for Trump. Did I hear that right, they did what? Trump warned Iran if he is assassinated, they will cease to exist. Some smart aleck posted that if the Israelis gave back the land, what would the Palestinians do with it? They can’t run a city, much less a technically advanced country. And Trump has pulled the US out of another round of useless UN agencies.

The last post is sunk and leveled. Oddly, I leveled it by eye and it was bang on when I checked it by instrument. The basic frame is up to protect the sidecar so we are now awaiting cheap lumber of the correct length for a cover. The utility bill arrived and the effect of the overhead heater was immediate. I was sure comfy but the electric shot from last year’s average of $72 up to $121. This also means tying up a lot more money as the buffer. I’m talking $400 because utilities have gone up 42% since I got here. Ouch. I’ll slate that for next Monday, we don’t skimp on electricity in this household.
Whatever is tripping the old breaker is far along the old attic wiring. It will be cheaper to replace the entire run. A beautiful 82°F meant I also got some puttering done. Sigh, it’s a sadder and lonelier puttering than I’d rather be up to. May 23 upcoming marks 29 years sing I worked for a living but also the time in my life where I’ve never had a steady gal. Yes, I’m not so happy I don’t miss it as much as before. I do not document my love life, but the longest relationship I’ve had in Florida (that’s 26 years) is, let me think. Fourteen months and it was a waste of my time. You grow together or you grow apart and I have yet to meet one who puts in any effort.
I don’t just mean emotionally, because they don’t even seem to try. But just a cooperative effort. Last day I sent the Reb around to pay some bills and get some documents. Do you have any idea what it would take to find a woman like that in these woods? I would even settle for a pleasant lady companion here in Florida, but good luck. It ain’t happening. It’s the same as sixty years ago, all the good women are snapped up fast. That’s all I’m saying for now.
Pam Bondi, the new Attorney General, has cut off funding to all sanctuary cities and ordered the arrest of anybody who interferes with the deportations. Wow, that was fast. The USAID website was back up—just long enough to tell them all they are fired. DeepSeek, the budget A.I. app, has been banned in the USA for refusing to answer questions about Chinese politics. The Democrats are reduced to grey-haired old men protesting on the sidewalk. NASA, which is 35% women and 40% minorities, has been told to clean up its act and stick to launcing rockets.
ADDENDUM
Walking in from the shed, I glanced up to see Venus, the Moon, Jupiter, and Mars. Probably the last time in my life. They were about equal distances apart along the plane of the ecliptic, in that order, west to east.
