Yesteryear
One year ago today: October 4, 2025, we’re regulars.
Five years ago today: October 4, 2021, more squirrel wars.
Nine years ago today: October 4, 2017, I loved this work.
Random years ago today: October 4, 2008, Wallace temporarily happy.

That’s interesting. Florida has finally barred illegals from their trade schools and put residents first. See the gaslighting? It’s not a feather since the illegals should be thrown out, not barred. These announcements before elections are asinine, implying the job is done. And they should have specified citizens, not “residents”. I awoke quite famished, a good sign. Here’s the best pic of the ceremony y’day. The boxes were an unexpected hit, but it is on record they are an impulse like. Will I build any today? Only coffee can decide an issue like that.
This morning I had to take time off. Read this interest article on women who were not raised around men. The things they found that most surprised them when they got boyfriends were usually the amount they could eat and the amount of personal noise they make at everything. I could concur with that. I already know neither is the case with me, and I also know what women find different about me. Two items mostly.
One is that I read a lo and can do so with incredible background noise. I take them more to mean they’ve never met man who reads. I have reasons for thinking this. The other is the how I can go many hours without speaking to anyone. In my defense, I speak to anyone who is interesting. The article is 70 pages long, I may refer to it again when finished reading.

Two items that missed describing me were sight and time. At age 40, or 50 and 60, I never passed into that realm where you become invisible to people under 30. Nope, that never happed to me. Did you see the video of my last Karaoke bit? There you go. The other is that sense of time speeding up that seems to bother so many. But I’ve already explained that away as a consequence of being a boring ass-clown in the first place.. And I already knew they were in the majority. It’s not on the list, but I’ve never felt or been out-competed by younger people solely because of their youth. It takes real talent to beat my lack of it.
In the news, a Democrat has been caught running old news footage and claiming it is his recent rallies. I thought it was normal practice. I agree with the law requiring AM radio in all cars. It adds very little cost and is talk shows are often the only unscripted exposure most addicts ever get. Police from Spain have appeared in Cueta rounding up thousands of illegals squatting on beaches. Apparently the water is polluted with E. coli, meaning you can’t even wade in it. Around 60,000 of the 70,000 blacks have been removed but the remaining 10,000 are military-minded and dangerous.
The Supreme Court just ruled States cannot allow ballot counting after election day. Yep, the noose is closing on Democrat election fraud. Turns out Iran already has Chinese designed missiles that can hit the eastern US. A reminder to all the Iranians have sworn for decades they will nuke the US as soon as they possess the capability.

Picture of the day.

Futile as it was, I did have money tucked away in case my talent was ever discovered. Well, that ain’t gonna happen, and if it did, what would I do with it. So most of it has been plugged into the career of another. And it’s a matter I can’t discuss with my pal over here because takes all such money matters the wrong way. You gave who, what? Yes, and because it was my defunct career, it never made an iota of difference where that money got spent. The Reb & I are discussing alternatives. But, all the money is gone.
I was in to the ATM today and although I’m okay, that’s dependent on nothing going wrong. I’m duty bound to record my own condition. Today is was something a thousand percent unexpected. I crawled up to the ATM, then pulled into the parking lot for groceries. Totally bummed out, partially from y’day, I began trudging toward the entrance. A two-second flash came over me, I felt like I was buoyed up, like I was 30 pounds lighter. I started walking full speed for the first time in years and a dozen little aches and pain melted away.

The shopping trip was a breeze, taking only the normal twenty minutes and the feeling of lighter, easier movement has lasted for hours, even as I’m sitting down at the computer wondering what hit me. I’ve ruled out pygmies with amphetamine blow-darts in the parking lot, so I wonder if this is some threshold I just needed time to pass. Definitely, you’ll be kept in the loop. Yep, it happened just like that.

This is a generic view, that’s Alaine standing near center. It was low-key for us this year and that turned out to be ideal. There were around 30 pictures of the day, but nothing new. These photos are representative of a laid-back day.

ADDENDUM
My new phone is still in the process of having all the GenX BS deleted. One such is a notification of my “digital well-being”. It alerts me I have used my phone one minute less than last week. And that I’m averaging 4 minutes per day on the phone. I’ll try to cut down. The phone is another millennial piece of shit. When first opens, it displays the last person who called you with a button right under where you naturally grip the phone to pick it up that will “Delete Contact”. Just now it rang or beeped or whatever, and displays nothing. Is it a call, a message, a notification? Your guess is as good as mine.
More BS, this time the legal system. It works like this, and we’ve covered this before. You get an injunction and they want $8,800 because they have to write up a contract of sorts. It has an end date and lists the behaviors you want stopped. Time passes and the end date approaches, we want an extension. They want another $8,800 dollars.
Hold on, you say. Last time you said you wanted so much because you had to write up a contract. This time, we don’t need a new contract. All you have to do is change the dates. Now the Catch-22. They want you to list the behaviors you want stopped.

Aha, they say, but she has stopped those behaviors. Of course, that is because we filed an injunction. We don’t want her to start up again. Okay, that will be $8,800 dollars again. There may be no such thing as an honest lawyer in Tennessee, We are also having bad results from Caltier. Despite promises, they are not pre-actively calling us with updates and we are in a quandary with Mr. Smith. He maintains he was parachuted into the top position and was caught by these cash flow problems. He can’t make such decisions.
That automatically creates the situation that somebody else makes these decisions, and we need to talk to that person. Can’t have it both ways.
