Helped Schultz get out to buy a 1960 Volkswagen. Transportation, and that's [about] all. Stopped at the Smitty's on the way back. Some class women hang around there. Only when I see them like that does my age bother me.
The immigrant kids are better off. This is the year for me. I'm extremely disappointed with the women I've met out here, no happy medium, everybody's in extreme, either has nothing, on welfare, or too busy paying bills to have any fun. Tomorrow I'll be (ineligible) in my 20s for a going for a drive. It's the same older people bore me (can't boogie with them) and the younger people are suspicious. If I had my choice now... I'd go to the lounge at the Blitz so I took off.
[ Author’s note 2025: Unfortunately the page here is so deteriorated I can't make out most of the words but I would have been on the West Coast visiting Moogie that would be in New Westminster, across the line in British Columbia. The Blitz sas a hotel at the corner of Broadway and Kingsway in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia. The Hotel was actually called The Biltmore. Remember as a dual citizen I can cross that line anytime. More about that later. ]
