The Third World gets it’s first wake-up call. The Columbian’s caved in less than an hour. Their mouthpiece, Gustavo, at first refused to let the US planes land, complaining America was treating the illegals as if they were criminals, duh. And how about the Haitian supreme crying that returning the illegals is not good for Haiti. America’s dumtards are now asking us to believe that four police killed themselves over “horrors” they witnessed on January 6. All four were slated to testify against the Democrats.
We shall soon see the spectacle of CBS getting hung out to dry for election interference. Bakeries and construction sites report an 80% decline in workers showing up. With DEI taken down, women “software developers” are being laid off wholesale. The Swedish “Minister of Integration” suggest Muslims need to take courses to learn rape is wrong. Trump has signed off on overhauling or abolishing FEMA. America wants it abolished. The detested CNN anchor, Acosta, has been demoted to the equivalent of station janitor.
Here’s a view of my first charred wood finish, I forget where I mentioned Elvis clocks around here. This is the result on pallet lumber. It’s a bit of an improvement. Nearby should be another photo showing the boxes side by side, on the left is the foam board original, and then the wooden model, representing my first sale.
Remember my comment that the Haines City Museum was closed, what some months ago now. A tiny footnote on several search sites now mentions “permanently closed”. I put in a few hours in the shed, again non-productive work. For example I finally got around to wiring the east wall of the shed on a separate leg from the north. Now, the north side has its own switch so the whole shed doesn’t light up when I switch on the entry light.
In total, I wired one outlet and one switch in three hours, proving again that could not do this for a living. Today everything went right, I had all the parts, and no errors. Yet less than a quarter as fast as I’ve seen others do it. The neighbor was working outside so we got to chatting. He wants me to build a couple generic picture frames which he can fit over his work and judge how he’d like them framed. Makes sense.
He once describe his painting style, saying not everybody appreciated the Modernist movement. I’ll get you photos of his material, to me it is squares on pieces of paper, I would instantly forget which was right side up. He’s been doing these paintings for years and is a regular at art shows.
Here is a link to a horrendous tale of persecution by a J6 prisoner. I read it with great interest because of how well it maps out exactly what I warned would happen to people who did not actively oppose events taking place on the Internet. I’m the least surprised to hear how the authorities got these stupid, ignorant people who had “nothing to hide”. That is, by systematically using the very information they supplied by thinking nothing could go wrong. Good, let them suffer.
Millions of illegals are not showing for work. The immediate effect is inflation has stopped cold. And some prices are already dropping. The porch lumber estimate from last day has dropped $9 in 24 hours. Rush hours have become manageable.
Wind tunnel interior.

I cut a few pieces for some medium size pieces only to find the best saw I have access to, the neighbor’s, is a little off square. Must be the saw fence. There is a connection on my air compressor acting up. Also, the Harbor Freight connections I use gradually corrode a bit and require fairly regular oiling. The air tools have become indispensable so that’s another non-productive day of work.
It’s evident I still have much to learn about applying poly-acrylic finishes. I can get the pieces as evenly coated as possible but when dry I see the errors. I’ve tried multiple thin coats and sanding between but still streaks and drips. I did get out the propane torch and test burning the grain. It works fairly nice and now I know more about how Elvis clocks are made (see picture above). For lack of a better photo, here is a time and temperature report from just before 9:00AM this morning.
Deepseek, the latest Chinese A.I. offering, has sent a shock wave through the US competition. Apparently it is not that much better at the software end, but uses a fraction of the chips and power required by the giant American firms. Sadly for me, I can’t find any info on, just endless news reports. I have the same situation with digital coins and avatars. I know what I want but there is not a single source that speaks anything but jargon and hype.
I gave up on Lofty for this reason. And I’m on my own, I’ve never met anyone who can help me learning any of these subjects. Even people who are supposed to know, when questions on the core meanings, turns out they have no real idea of the how or why behind these technologies. And this is information you should have and understand before you use them, much less invest in them.
While not using Wilford as an example, consider this situation. When I mention the free course in CNC, he told me about Metallica. The band (in 2020-2022) offered to pay for the courses of anyone who wanted to learn CNC and one of their grants was right here at Polk State College. Despite being my guitar player at the time, it never crossed his mind to mention this. See this photo of the broken big picture window at the old club. Some fat lady fell into it on Saturday night. It's a terrible photo, but trust me, that lady was fat and that window is broken.
How about this A.I. on-line dating? One thing it does well is weed out the bad actors. What can I say, women after age 22 get extremely good at lying, and I consider foundation garments and makeup to be part of that. I watched videos and the A.I. has two avatars make the initial encounters, thus avoiding awkward dating scenes. I found it hilarious because while none of these women would fool me, the men fell into two categories. Those who wanted to believe the bullsh, and men who went along with it thinking they’d score. Yes folks, this is what GenX has come to.
What’s the back story on this one? I was pricing some water testing chemicals when I came across this restriction on all blood testing kits. If it was there before, I did not see it, which is unlikely. A check with many supply houses shows they are all restricting sales of certain testing kits to commercial users only. I’m curious about the logic. Is it a new government rule or has somebody been sued? Yet there are no restrictions on electrophoresis supplies or similar. (Electrophoresis is the device used to separate DNA strands by their tiny differences in molecular polarity.)
ADDENDUM
The news keeps getting better. Nearly 15 Justice Department chiefs who aided Jack Smith’s prosecution of Trump have been fired. Hospitals are warning illegals they will be turned over to ICE if they try to get free medical (this is done by checking into Emergency, then disappearing once they get treatment). Italy, following Trump’s lead, has pulled out of the WHO.
Illegals are waving foreign flags in the streets of Dallas, demanding an end to the deportations. Funny how this took some people by surprise. Later in the day we get the happy news that’s infuriating the liberals and a host of foreign leftists. Apparently Trump was playing golf when Gustavo tried to fight back. Trump was on the sixth hole when Columbia squawked and on the eighth hole when they capitulated. That, Josh & Tyler, is how it is done. If only he could do it to Cubans. They have never belonged here.
