Hello, hopefully I am in S. Miami and my vehicle is in good running shape. If today goes as planned I got JZ out of the house and to the movie theater for the D-Day show. But you will have to wait until probably I get home to find out if we chased any women or found any who could dance. Meanwhile, posted above is, for unknown reasons, my most popular blog special feature: “Yesteryear.”
My theory on that popularity is compound, that not only is it a rare blog feature, but there is enough blog here to support it long-term. Yes, it is labor-intensive, but you are worth it. Besides, who cares for those blogs that post once a month? Right, Glen? Secondly, the links back are to real life events worth committing to text, which could be a problem for couch potatoes. Right, Glen?
Here is a video taken last Sunday, proof I don’t ignore my chores on sunny days. If you’ve notice there is time-to-time a lag in the Random years link, here is the reason. The Yesteryear feature is not an afterthought. It takes work and required plenty of planning and forethought. It now has years of evolutionary experience—and that created a subtle nuance, that once mentioned, is difficult to forget. It is the quality or facet of currency.
I’ve tried printing/pasting up the links in advance, but it fails the currency test, that is, each day has its own sapidness, a rare word. It is a quality that offsets that link in unclear ways that seem to impact the daily relativity (or currency, as in current here and now) of the rest of the post. It has to be done at time of actual posting to capture that element. It also explains why sometimes you get a link to less than 48 months ago—something sparked the junction. We just don't know what.
Last Sunday I built that shelf and the video cam got tilted toward this shot. I had to ask myself if I would dare post such a crappy video. Looks like I did. I'll take it down depending on how many hits it generates. Folks, if it is over 400, it stays. So do not watch it, the camera was supposed to be recording the shop view.
