Yesteryear
One year ago today: May 4, 2022, all bush, no berry.
Five years ago today: May 4, 2018, too hot.
Nine years ago today: May 4, 2014, on union meetings.
Random years ago today: May 4, 2021,Palatka, Florida.

Kudos to the Marine who acted in self-defense and the safety of other by stopping the convicted felon on the New York subway. The long-term maintenance of this cabin, including improvements as well as repairs, averaged out to exactly $150 per month. Not at all bad compared to wasting money on rent. Good morning to a breakfast of coffee and chicken fried rice. With bell peppers donated by the ladies at the Thrift, who still can’t believe I do the crosswords in five or ten minutes. They just give me electronics stuff as well, for it never sells.
The nation is in an ugly mood. The left knows they cannot let Trump in and are on a savage campaign to stop him from even trying. The issue is they know they are in deep shit if he wins. They’ve been up to no good for years and cannot dare let anybody with any integrity into a position of control. The left has a history of breaking the law to get into power, then changing the law to let themselves off the hook. That would halt abruptly if Trump wins, and they know it.

The evil regime in South Africa has demanded the return of the diamonds in the British Crown. Yes folks, the most common delusion amongst non-whites is that the welfare checks will continue once the Whites are gone. The humor of today is how South Africa’s only driver’s license printing machine broke down and there’s nobody left knows how to repair it. Fox News continues to bleed away viewers over firing Tucker Carlson, and the Marine who choked the violent attacker in New York may be a turning point. Americans have had it with White people being jailed for self-defense and sooner or later there will be a culminating incident. Is this it?
The left is trying to portray the attacker as a mental patient who was seeking help (after being arrested 40 times), and up-playing that he was a Michael Jackson impersonator who “deserved to grow old”. Myself, I’d like an explanation of why 99.99% of such crazy people live in cities. These are a sampling of the posted replies to the nonsense that the guy was “lynched”.
1) Cannon Hinnant deserved to grow old, but you didn’t say a word about him.
2) Has anyone else noticed that when Blacks flip out and try to commit murder and/or mayhem, they are always having "a mental health crisis"?
3) Goodbye bum nigger, may your unhinged rants echo throughout purgatory.
4) That [Marine] dude just saved the American tax payers millions!
5) Come On, Man! Who among us hasn't occasionally wanted to strangle a Michael Jackson impersonator?
6) besides acting the fool what else did he do ?
7) they look so peaceful when they are sleeping
8) Fuck that, Most of you don't live in the NJ NYC war zones. Fuck you, fuck them fuck him and fuck those that think we can all be friends.
9) Now his Michael Jackson impersonation is complete.
10) Best thing for a subhuman like this is to be put out of their misery.
I neither agree nor disagree with the above. But I believe in the right to self-defense, and this was a clear case of it. He was threatening to kill people and it was only a matter of time. My interest here is whether the Marine is charged with anything. Other comments on-line suggest if he is not let off, this time it means trouble.
To wrap the morning up, there’s a view of the two sheets of paneling (retail$49.66) I picked up for $8.47. Destined to be ceiling inside the silo, and extra layer of squirrel defense. They keep getting in through the ceiling which is angled—always a problem for me. And a Washington State school has removed music from its curriculum due to White supremacy.

Remember to use BACK ARROW to return to blog.

Trump has now committed to firing those who committed human rights violations under the Biden regime and possibly further back. They will have to attack him directly now. There is a rumor that since Biden has refused to participate, that Trump and Tucker could team up to hold an alternate debate. I don’t know how such things work but I’d make it a point to watch that one. The Reb called and the Civic is now stone cold dead. It was checked out two weeks ago, so I suspect an electrical short, or a bulb left on. That car is mostly LEDs, but there are some bulbs.
What got done today? I finished the trim on the silo west side. It’s not painted but you can see the effect of these 2x6” pieces. Sort of looks like a pillar. This round goes to me, it was nice to hear just the birds in the yard this afternoon. Usually the squirrels are there arguing over something. Just the fact they are gone is a good sign. Also seen is the massive big ladder to the left, the only way to really store it is to lean it up against a tall tree.

And another view of the area slated for a long work bench in the shade. This shows some of the clearance and emphasizes the difference between the new and old lumber. These 2x3 pieces are not treated lumber. I’ve used this in other fences around the yard and years later, they show no deterioration. Remember, they only have to outlive me. The corner n the far back shows a spot where, if I plan it right, I can make a small passageway not visible from the road. This would save making a gate and right now to get to the other side, you have to walk completely around the building.
We have a small plastic kit that says it makes door knob and latch installations a snap. It’s like $8 bucks from harbor freight. No time for it today, instead I got one of two pieces of the air compressor ledger board installed. This does not have to be at all fancy. The trim and these pieces are the last of the treehouse donated by the neighbor. There is now almost no scrap lumber like boards around the yard. Boards like 2x4” and such. Lots of end cuts and strips only. I wanted to cross-brace the fence as shown here because the posts are old and loose.

Is silver on the move? It has passed $25 and gone as high as $26 this week. Call me when it hits $100. Call me twice at $200. I got a bunch of banking done, if that counts as activity today. There’s more to this than digging out ye olde bankbook. Each deposit done from here creates an 11-field entry. We do not use checks so various other activities are needed to increase security. Why this made the blog is the reaction of banks when they spot that you know things. In this case, it is the “funeral” bank, the cash meant for the inevitable.
It’s amusing how they’ve caught on to the pattern because they’ve evidently learned not to assume anything. For a small amount on deposit, they treat us like royalty. Good, it means they are not taking any chances just because we don’t look or act rich, but because they know we know what we are doing. There has never been a withdrawal from that account.
Music. Another no-go. The lady is nice enough. But I can’t use a singer who does not play guitar, and I finally remembered where I’d see the guy in her video. That’s old Gary, from the trailer park by the post office over on 17. He’s your Guitar Center golden boy, they sold him $50,000 in recording equipment and the pipe dream to go with it. I told her this is not going to work, so we part without ever meeting. As always she means well and sent me links to various local groups that she knows. And they are mostly the opposite of what I do. They play the old folk’s homes so they can be home by 9:30PM, which is usually the start of my second set.
As for the bands she named, it is priceless to see 50 and 70 year old “musicians” who never got out of the bush league. All following a path known to lead nowhere, forming the sort of bands they saw on cable TV in their formative years. Than teen mindset that stage lighting, band uniforms, and choreography can make up for a dull musical show.

Gambling. There is another crush of posting about the guys who supposedly cracked the horse-racing algorithm and picked millions in winners. For openers, I believe many of these stories are bogus, a form of advertising for the industry. It’s the legal parts that I follow. You see, from my point of view, if I can figure you out, or undersell your product, or find a way to out-do you, that’s capitalism. That’s fair game. Thus, I think people who best the gambling houses should not face criminal charges, but should be handed a medal.
What’s more, I don’t think casinos should be guaranteed a profit. Although cheating is bad, I don’t view beating the odds as criminal. It means somebody is smarter and those in the business need to keep on their toes.

1149. That’s my challenge to the A.I. people and their cousins who crow about quantum computering. That is the total of the digits on the license plate numbers as I drove down Florida Avenue in Lakeland y’day. From that info along, they should be able to tell me the make and model of every car involved. But I don’t personally believe there are enough Genxyzers alive in the world to fully grasp or create either of those disciplines.
